Pozvánka: Climate-related financial disclosure: Which way forward for the EU?, 21. 6. 2017
Datum: 19.05.2017
Centre for European Policy Studies

Hosted by CEPS and the European Climate Foundation
Date: 21 June 2017, 09:30 - 13:30
Location: CEPS, Place du Congrès 1, 1000 Brussels

The topic of disclosure of climate-related financial risk is gaining traction. The European Commission recently set up the High-Level Expert Group on Sustainable Finance (HLEG) to develop recommendations for a comprehensive programme of reforms to the EU financial policy framework. The HLEG provides an important opportunity to acknowledge and continue the work begun by the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) whose final report will be published in time for the G20 Leaders' Summit in Hamburg in July.

This meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss the various elements of carbon disclosure, and the implications of the TCFD’s recommendations for the EU, together with stakeholders from the investor community, energy industry, and policy makers.

An agenda and registration link will follow.
