The Max Rubner-Institut (Location Kiel) (www.mri.bund.de) invites you to participate in the 1st Kiel Food Science Symposium
and to submit abstracts for presentations.
The symposium will start at 1:00 pm on May 18, 2010 and ends at 1:00 pm on May 19, 2010.
Aim of the symposium:
- to offer a scientific platform for representatives from academia, industry, food authorities and policy,
- to stimulate the presentation of up-to-date research activities,
- to obtain information on new developments and
- to exchange views with colleagues from many countries on scientific progress and applications.
Topics of the symposium:
- Functional Food (first day)
- Food Safety (second day)
with a focus on milk and seafood.
