Health Claims and Food Labelling - the 19th annual conference on European Food Law, from the publisher of EU Food Law Weekly - brings together European Commission representatives, MEPs, food companies and consumer groups to examine the key issues in European food policy.
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has now adopted a series of opinions on claims referring to the reduction of disease risk and children’s development. Hear from Albert Flynn, Chair of the NDA Panel at EFSA on the scientific substantiation of proposed health claims and how the European Commission and Member States intend to apply the advice given for the future use of article 13 and 14 health claims on food.
