Pozvánka: 2nd European Innovation Summit, 11. - 14. 10. 2010
Brussels, 4 August 2010
Dear Madam, Dear Sir,
The 1st European Innovation Summit was organised by Knowledge4Innovation in the European Parliament on 13-14 October 2009. With the active participation of the Presidents of both the Parliament and the European Commission, it was widely recognised as a great success.
We are now in the process of organising the 2nd European Innovation Summit “Tackling the Grand Challenges – Policy meets Practice”, which will take place from 11 to 14 October 2010 in the European Parliament.
This year’s Summit Programme will discuss a broad range of topics including Europe’s innovation challenge, opportunities for knowledge and innovation partnerships, the role of innovation in energy efficiency, urban and regional mobility, food security and agriculture, healthy ageing, as well as sustainable production. In addition, further debates on issues such as intellectual property rights international innovation cooperation and ‘Europe’s future Nobel Prize Winners’ will be organised. Several European Commissioners have been confirmed or plan to hold keynote speeches including Commission President Barroso.
Participation in the 2nd European Innovation Summit (EIS) is limited to the number of places available in the European Parliament. Early Registration as a 2nd EIS Participating Partner is highly recommended.
There are different levels of engaging in the 2nd EIS. We cordially invite you to take a look at the 2nd EIS Partnership Overview, including the EIS Partner benefits. Depending on the level of partnership, those benefits include advertising space, speaking opportunities at the Summit and the possibility of contributing to the content of the sessions.
The 1st EIS Outcome Brochure will give you an excellent overview of last year’s Summit.
