Pozvánka: "Climate Law Conference 2011", 23. 6. 2011
The Berlin Climate Law Conference goes London! After three editions in Berlin, this year we will meet in London. Lexxion, the organiser of this highly topical conference, cordially invites you to join this event on
Thursday, 23 June 2011 at the King’s College London.
Reflecting on the developments since Copenhagen and Cancún and the latest round of negotiations in Bonn in June 2011, a select group of high-level experts and decision makers will discuss current decisions and challenges, highlighting the legal and institutional implications.
The speakers will debate major questions such as:
- What progress have countries made in securing funds for the “fast track” climate finance, and how will the Green Climate Fund set up for their disbursement operate?
- What sources can be tapped for climate finance in the longer term, and what role will market mechanisms play?
- Will the decisions taken in Cancún help reduce the current uncertainty in the carbon market by declaring that emissions trading and the project-based mechanisms under the Kyoto Protocol “shall continue to be available” beyond 2012?
Please find the full programme here and visit our website for further information and online registration.
I look forward to seeing you in London!
Best regards
