Autumn Conference on European State Aid Law 2011

 Now that date and venue for the 2011 edition of the EStALI Autumn Conference on
 European State Aid Law have been selected, we are delighted to inform you that
 the workshop is scheduled for Thursday, 1 December, and the conference
 for Friday, 2 December.

 We are very proud to also announce that this year's academic partner is the
 Leiden Expert Group on State Aid (LEGSA) from Leiden University. We will
 therefore meet at the campus of Leiden

 * Selectivity

 Conference - 2 December:

 * The concept of selectivity in the most recent jurisprudence of the EU
 courts

 * The new guidelines for rescue & restructuring in the financial sector

 * The new rules for Services of General Economic Interest (SGEI)

 * The funding of infrastructure and the revision of the 2005 airport
 guidelines

 Gert-Jan Koopman, Deputy Director General State aids at the Directorate General
 for Competition, will be the keynote speaker and as usual you can expect several
 further high-level experts from relevant authorities, the industry, academia,
 and private legal practice.
