We cordially invite you to our second international conference on “The

 Regulation of Food Supplements in Europe: How much harmonisation is needed?”,

 which will take place on 8 an 9 December 2011 at the Meliá Hotel in Berlin.

 In recent years, a great deal of progress has been made in European-wide

 harmonisation of the legal framework for food supplements. And yet a number of

 basic questions remains to be answered. With that in mind, we again wish to

 initiate an intensive exchange, for specialists, on issues of key relevance for

 the sector – maximum levels of vitamins and minerals; the Health Claims

 Regulation; and Botanicals and other substances.

 Along with the European / international associations EHPM, ERNA, EBF and IADSA,

 we are looking forward to discussing current issues and future challenges,

 openly and intensively, with high-ranking speakers and experts from the areas of

 policy, science and industry.
